Thunder Awaken defeated Mad Kings. beastcost beat Infinity Esports. Evil Geniuses had no problem against Infamous.

Thunder Awaken 2:0 Mad Kings

The first map for Thunder Awaken went pretty easy. From the beginning of the game, they managed to make a lot of kills, which allowed them to gain a significant advantage in gold, which Mad Kings already couldn't cope with.

Mad Kings got off to a good start on the second map. But a few lost fights in a row brought the team down. It took Thunder Awaken 27 minutes to finish the game in their favor.

beastcost 2:0 Infinity Esports

The most spectacular encounter of the day was the beastcost game, where the underdog put up a good fight.

The first map was dominated by beastcost. By 30 minutes they were leading by 8,000 gold, but thanks to Refresher Orb on Tidehunter, Infinity managed to put up a good fight on their high ground and teamwipe. However, this did not have much of an effect on the outcome of the game. In the next game episode, however, the Tidehunter died without buyback and the beastcost legitimately led the series.

On the second map, Infinity was able to grab a small advantage. As early as the 35th minute, Adrian on Templar Assassin made a questionable decision and bought a Divine Rapier. Right after that, Infinity had a bad fight, giving up the Rapier and dying without bystanders. The enemy Juggernaut took advantage of this by breaking the throne.

EVIL GENIUSES 2:0 INFAMOUS

In the final encounter of the day, EG grabbed the lead on the first map and held it for the entire game. Infamous couldn't respond in any way. Excellent play on the signature Timbersaw by Wisper and a win on the first map for his team.

The second map was no different than the first. Except for the heroes. EG also won all their lines from the start and finished the game 2-0.

The DPC SA 2023 Tour 3 Division I matches are taking place from May 14 to June 5. Eight teams are competing for a prize pool of $205,000, 1,150 DPC points, and two spots in The Bali Major 2023.
