The midlaner of Virtus.pro Abed will not take part in FISSURE Universe: Episode 8 Play-In. The reason for the player's absence is preparing a visa for competing at ESL One Birmingham 2026.
For the duration of the tournament, Abed will be replaced by the midlaner from the club's youth roster — Serenada, who previously played for VP.Prodigy. Recall that earlier VP.Prodigy finished its run at FISSURE Universe in 13–16th place.
