The first day of the group stage of FISSURE Playground 2 has ended. All favorites won their matches. The tournament is held in a Swiss system, where the winners of three matches advance to the playoffs.

The most interesting events of the game day:
- The newcomers of the Tier-1 scene Runa Team showed nothing in the match against Aurora, the match ended with a score of 2-0. Over two maps, Runa Team never gained more than 1000 advantage and made only 20 frags in total.
- The Peruvian stack Team Cobra also failed. Team Liquid crushed the team of K1 in 50 minutes.
- BetBoom Team proved stronger than Virtus.pro in two maps. gpk~ once again showed a magnificent game. The newcomer Kiritych also played a decent match. Virtus.pro had good chances on the first map, but the wrong choice of artifacts and positioning issues led to defeat. Daxak on Tidehunter took Aghanim's Scepter, and Antares on Snapfire acquired BKB and Refresher. Timado died first in every fight.
- Top-3 The International 2025 - PARIVISION, not without problems, defeated Nigma Galaxy. On the second map, Satanic chose Kez, on which, judging by everything, he did not have enough practice. Due to imperfect button pressing and one gross mistake, they couldn't make a comeback. On the decisive map, SumaiL took Tinker and played with KDA 11/3/12, but the rest of the team's execution was lacking. Nigma Galaxy made 32 frags, 12 of which were on 9Class.
- Returning to Dota Vici Gaming managed to take a map from Tundra Esports, showing an unconventional carry Marci. The other two maps were very easy for Tundra Esports.
FISSURE Playground 2 is held from October 23 to November 2 in Belgrade, Serbia with a prize pool of 1 million dollars.
