Aurora assembled an experimental roster with players from CIS, Asia and Australia
The most surprising announcement of the day was the announcement of the new roster of Aurora. The club officially said goodbye to kiyotaka and Pantomem, and also introduced an updated roster with Indonesian midlaner Mikoto and Malaysian support Oli~.
With kiyotaka and Pantomem, the team placed 5-8th this season at the Esports World Cup 2025 and 9-12th at The International 2025. The former midlaner of the team wrote on social media after the announcement of moving to the bench:
FREEDOM
Both new players of Aurora previously played for Talon Esports. However, the main achievements of Oli~ are associated with the Chinese team Invictus Gaming from 2018-2022. With them, he won DOTA Summit 11 and ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021, and took third place at MDL Chengdu Major.
While Oli~ is already officially listed in the team, Mikoto joined the team only as a stand-in for the tournament FISSURE Universe: Episode 7. This event will be significant for Mikoto himself, as for the first time in his entire esports career, he will be playing for a team not from Southeast Asia. He currently holds the second rank in his region, and among his achievements, one can mention 3rd place at DreamLeague Season 26 and 9-12th place at Esports World Cup 2025.
The new international roster of Aurora looks like this:
kpii, who recently left Team Liquid, has also become the team's second coach.
On October 9th, in the playoffs of FISSURE Universe: Episode 7, we will see how justified these replacements are. We remind you that the prize pool of the tournament will be 250,000 dollars.
