Beastcoast And K1 Part Ways
Héctor "K1" Rodríguez has been playing for Beastcoast as their Carry player since 2019. After almost four years with the organization, K1 and Beastcoast have mutually agreed to part ways.
This announcement is shocking as Beastcoast has already secured their spot in the 2023 Bali Major and will likely qualify for The International 2023 too. Despite having these big events lined up, K1 still bid farewell to the Peruvian roster.
K1 did not participate in DreamLeague Season 20 with the team last week. David "Parker" Nicho Flores stood in for Hector and had a solid performance with Beastcoast, but it wasn't enough for the roster to crack the Top 8.
Hector's replacement for the Bali Major is yet to be announced, but Parker is expected to be the candidate to take the 22-year-old's place.
