Details of Omega League America
Epic Esports and WePlay, two famous tournament operators, have announced a joint online tournament - OMEGA LEAGUE. It will hold in two regions, European and American, and the total prize pool will be $600,000. In this article, you will find all the information about the American region tournament.
American region format
The American region will also split into two divisions - Divine and Ancient.
Information about the American Divine Division:
- Number of participants: 10
- Prize pool: $35,600
- Group stage: August 17-26
- Playoffs: August 27 - September 5
The results of the group stage will affect the passing to the playoffs or the falling to the Ancient division. All teams will divide into two groups, where they will play in the Round-Robin format. According to the results of the group stage of the Divine division:
- 1st and 2nd places of each group go to the upper bracket of the playoffs
- 3-4 places of each group will play in the extra matches for the last 2 slots in the lower bracket of the playoffs. The losers go to the upper bracket playoffs in the Ancient Division
- 5th place of each group goes go to the upper bracket playoffs in the Ancient Division

- Prize pool: $8,500
- Group stage: August 17-26
- Playoffs: August 27 - September 5

- 1st-2nd places of each group go to the playoffs
- 3rd-4th places of each group leave the tournament
