DLTV Best Player Awards Of 2023, Position 4: First Place

Exclusive

The best position four player of 2023 is easily Gaimin Gladiator’s tOfu. Though he may not look like it, tOfu has spent his entire life playing games, but not only Dota. He began his esports career in Counter-Strike: Source and even moved to League of Legends and became a professional player.

Unfortunately, League of Legends didn’t work out too well for tOfu, and he began working as a model, which, let’s be honest, is not too surprising. After his modeling gig, tOfu has found himself being the best position four player of the year.

In 2023, the Gaimin Gladiators broke through from being a Tier 2 team to the best team in the world. They won three Majors in a row and could have rewritten Dota 2 history had they won The International 12. Still, the Gladiators boast the best results in 2023:

The German player played 320 maps and had an astounding win rate of 66%. He played 41 different heroes, and three of them stood out:

  • Rubick (48 Maps, 71% Win Rate)
  • Techies (29 Maps, 72% Win Rate)
  • Mirana (23 Maps, 70% Win Rate)

tOfu stands out among other position four players not only by looks but also stats:

  • Top 2 KDA: 3.49
  • Top 4 Average Kills Per Game: 3.47
  • Top 1 (Least) Average Deaths Per Game: 4.82
  • Top 3 Kill Participation: 69.27%
  • Top 2 Average Damage Per Game: 15816

With all tOfu's past careers and experiences mentioned above, it is worth noting that he is one of the oldest players in his position, as he is 27 years old.

That concludes the list of support players. Tomorrow, we’ll begin with the Off Lane position.
