Dota 2 is nominated for Esports Awards Game of the Year
The Esports Awards 2022 will be held in Los Angeles in December 2022. There will be awards in 7 categories: Content Group of the year, Esports Content Creator of the year, Esports Content Series of the year, Esports Mobile Game of the year, Esports Personality of the year, Streamer of the year, and Esports Game of the year.
The Esports Game of the year category includes 9 games: League of Legends, Valorant, CS:GO, Rocket League, Free Fire, Apex Legends, R6, Fortnite, and Dota 2. Also, Road To International, a documentary about OG, is included in the Esports Content Series of the year category.
The Esports Awards have been held annually since 2016. The year earlier, in 2020, Dota 2 representatives won the following nominations: the best Esportsman — Michał "Nisha" Jankowski, and the best Esports organization of the year — Team Secret.
