DPC EEU Lower Division matches to be on May 19-22
The dates for the Spring Tour of the DPC EEU Regional Leagues have been revealed. It will be held online in 4 days, from May 19-22. The organizer is Beyond The Summit.
At the moment, we know the names of 5 participants: Team Empire, Hydra, Rune Eaters Esports, Gambit Esports, and Nemiga Gaming. In addition to them, 2 more teams will be determined in the open qualifiers, scheduled for May 16-17. Who will take another slot is unknown. It belonged to AS Monaco Gambit, which had previously disbanded.
The format of the competition is also unknown yet. Based on the short period of the competition, we can assume that it will repeat the format of the Upper Division. There, the teams played each other in a Double Elimination format bracket. At the end of the tournament, 2 teams will get slots in the DPC Upper Division for the next season.
