Emo became a free agent after Glyph’s failure
The midlaner of GLYPH — Emo has left the roster. The team announced it as follows:
"This really hurts, but if you love someone — let them go. We thank Emo for his time in GLYPH, as he has decided to pursue other opportunities at this point in the season. We will miss our little evil genius."
Emo has played for GLYPH since April 1, 2026. The team failed to qualify for Esports World Cup 2026 and The International 2026.
Current GLYPH roster:
In three months of existence, GLYPH managed to qualify for one tier-1 tournament — Blast Slam 7, where the team finished in last, 12th place.
Over the course of his career, Emo has represented several teams, including Invictus Gaming, where he spent the longest period, playing more than 500 matches and earning the bulk of his prize money, as well as such well-known clubs as LGD Gaming and Yakutou Brothers.
One of the player’s most significant achievements is fourth place at The International 10, which brought the team a substantial share of the prize pool. Also on Emo’s track record are 7 gold, 9 silver and 13 bronze medals at various tournaments.
In 2024 it was reported that Emo reached a rating of 13,000 MMR on his main account, becoming the first Chinese player to achieve this level.
According to the team’s official statement, the player has already set his sights on another team, which he considers more promising. There is no information yet about his new roster or who will replace him in GLYPH.
