Peruvian team beastcoast will miss ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021. Team support, ??Steven "StingeR" Vargas, tested positive for coronavirus.
Despite the fact that only one player was tested positive, the rest team had contact with him and now go through an incubation period, which is about 2 weeks. The participants, which go to the tournament with substitutions, had no contact with the players within the stated time.
According to the club's management, the team will concentrate on preparing for the second season of DPC: SA, which starts on April 13.
beastcoast won first place in the DPC: SA Regional League and was supposed to start right from the Play-off stage. It is currently unknown what will happen to their spot in the tournament. Most likely, there will be one more ticket for the group stage.
