Epic Esports and WePlay Announced Omega League Europe
Epic Esports and WePlay, two famous tournament operators, have announced a joint online tournament - OMEGA LEAGUE. It will hold in two regions, European and American, and the total prize pool will be $600,000. In this article, you will find all the information about the European region tournament.
European Region format
The European Region will split into two divisions - Immortal and Divine.
Information about the European Immortal Division:
- Number of participants: 12
- Prize Pool: $500,000
- Group stage: August 10-26
- Playoffs: September 2-5
The group stage results will affect the passing to the playoffs or the falling to the Divine division. All teams will divide into two groups, where they will play in the Round-Robin format. According to the results of the group stage of the Immortal division:
- 1st and 2nd places of each group go to the upper bracket of the playoffs
- 3rd place of each group goes to the lower bracket of the playoffs
- 4th-5th places of each group will play extra matches for the last 2 slots in the playoffs lower bracket. The losers go to the second round of the Divine division playoffs
- 6th place of each group goes to the first round of the Divine division playoffs

- Group stage: August 10-26
- Playoffs: September 2-5
The results of the group stage will influence the passage to the playoffs. All teams will divide into two groups, where they will play in the Round-Robin format. According to the results of the group stage of the Divine division:
- 1st place of each group goes to the playoffs of the upper bracket
- 2-3 places of each group go to the playoffs of the lower bracket
- 4-6 places leave OMEGA LEAGUE
