ESL plans to host two Dota 2 tournaments in 2021
Tournament operator ESL has published a calendar of Esports events for 2021. It has two tournaments independent of Valve, which should be hosted in summer and winter.
As the organizer notes, this year, it plans to move away from the online format and switch to the studio one, without viewers. However, it is also possible to host a full-fledged LAN tournament.
At the moment, there are no exact dates for the events, but they will take place on breaks from the Valve tournaments. It is also known that the prize fund of each tournament will be $400,000. The summer tournament will be hosted in the studio, and the winter one has every chance to be played in LAN. Formats and lists of teams will be announced later.
