Esports World Cup 2026 Dota prize pool reduced to 2 million dollars

The organizers of Esports World Cup announced on their X a seven-week esports olympiad across 24 games, which will take place from July 6 to August 23 with a total prize pool of $75 million.
Dota 2 will again be one of the opening disciplines of the event and will be held in the first week — from July 6 to 19. The tournament's prize pool has once again decreased; this year it will amount to $2 million, which is $1 million less than in 2025, $3 million less than in 2024, and $13 million less than in 2023.
Information about the participants and the dates of the qualifiers will be announced later.
