Evil Geniuses and beastcoast to play at The Lima Major 2023
Last night, after the DPC: SA Winter Upper Division matches, two representatives of the region at The Lima Major 2023 were determined. They are Evil Geniuses and beastcoast.
After the opening matches, both teams are going without a single loss and have guaranteed themselves a place in the Top-2 in advance. However, on Sunday, January 29, they face each other in a head-to-head encounter. The winner takes first place and receives $30,000 and 300 DPC points. The loser earns $28,000 and 180 DPC points.
Yesterday, it also became known that Infamous will leave the Upper Division early: the team hasn't had a single win in 6 matches. The second team to leave the division will be Ravens or Alliance.LATAM. Their fate will be decided by the remaining league games.
DPC Winter 2023 Upper Division runs from January 5 to February 3. Teams from different regions compete for $205,000 in prize money, 690 DPC points, and invitations to The Lima Major 2023, which starts at the end of February.
