Evil Geniuses has a partnership with an EPL football club
North American organization Evil Geniuses has announced a partnership with English football club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
According to the press release, the partnership will allow Evil Geniuses to learn from Wolverhampton Wanderers and use the local training bases of the sports club. In return, the soccer team's logo will appear on Evil Geniuses' uniforms.
As part of this partnership, the North American organization has attracted investment from the Chinese company Fosun Sports Group, which owns a football club. The amount of the investment was not disclosed, but the announcement said that once the partnership begins, Evil Geniuses is valued at $255,000,0000.
This is not the first experience of large football brands collaborating with Esports. For several years, another French club, PSG, has been successfully working with the Chinese team LGD. And this year, French football club AS Monaco and Russian Esports organization Gambit Esports announced their partnership.
