Fake information about The International 10 start date has appeared on Google
Recently, an event calendar from Google revealed that The International 10 starts on August 15 and will take place at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden.
Some portals have already published articles with this news, but this is 100% fake. Valve didn't make an official announcement with information about the date of the tournament.
Google Event Calendar collects information from various sources and groups it for the users' convenience but doesn't check all the facts. Information about The International 10 start date appeared on a third-party website and had nothing to do with reality anyway.
Initially, The International 10 was supposed to be held in 2020 in Sweden, but due to the pandemic outbreak, the championship was postponed to 2021. If Valve doesn't make changes, then the prize pool for the tournament should be $40,000,000.
