The second day of the Blast Slam 7 playoffs has ended, the denouement is already very close. Patch 7.41d was released at night, and therefore, despite the fact that major nerfs affected only Tiny and Kez, the teams played in slightly more unusual conditions. As a result, today BetBoom Team advanced to the winners’ final to face Team Yandex, and Team Liquid and Team Falcons left the tournament.

- CIS teams are on fire today: both Aurora and BetBoom Team knocked out Team Falcons, who were playing with a stand-in. From all these matches, gpk~ deserves a special mention. From him we saw spectacular Dota today with team wipes, fountain dives and Dream Coil on four heroes. Amusingly, the drafts of both teams did not really change from game to game; everyone chose a safer drafting style under the conditions of the new patch.
- LGD Gaming decided to reinforce today’s popularity of Puck in competitive play: TaiLung played it with KDA 5/0/10 and 10/2/18. Both maps ended smoothly in 30 minutes.
The Blast Slam 7 playoffs are taking place June 4–7 in Copenhagen at the BLAST studio without spectators. The tournament’s prize pool is 1 million dollars.
