Gladiators make history

The Gladiators have become the owners of historical achievement in the Dota 2 world by becoming the 4th team to win the majors twice in a row. Previously, only OG, Virtus.pro, and PSG.LGD have done that.
Teams with two consecutive majors to their credit:
- OG — The Manila Major 2016 and The Boston Major 2016
- Virtus.pro — ESL One Katowice 2018 and The Bucharest Major
- PSG.LGD — EPICENTER XL and MDL Changsha Major
- Gladiators — The Lima Major 2023 and ESL One Berlin Major 2023
The Gladiators faced Liquid in the ESL One Berlin Major 2023 Final on May 7. This wasn't their first recent encounter that ended this way. The Gladiators won the tournament with a 3:1 score in a BO5 series, earning $200,000 and 500 DPC points.
