HEROIC became the champions of Fissure Universe Ep.7 and claimed their second title
FISSURE Universe: Episode 7 has concluded. This is the first tournament of the season where tier-1 teams with updated rosters participated. The list of tournament participants is presented below:
Two renowned tags that participated in The International 2025 were knocked out in the lower bracket by the unexpectedly in-form MOUZ. Nigma Galaxy exited the tournament after 3 rounds in the lower bracket, and Team Liquid after the finals. Recall that GH, one of the most experienced players, left Nigma Galaxy. He was replaced by Tobi. As for Team Liquid, former members of Gaimin Gladiators — Ace and tOfu — replaced the departed SabeRLighT and iNSaNiA.
In the finals, Heroic faced MOUZ. On the first map, the updated stack led by Seleri showed good Dota. By the time of the finals, Crystallis already had a streak of 16 wins on Juggernaut, and MidOne and BOOM were showing confident performances.
However, the victory of Heroic on the second map turned the game around. Then Wisper, who recently changed position, chose mid Enigma and dominated mid, while Yuma finished the game with a crazy KDA of 16/0/24.
After such a map, MOUZ never recovered: on the third map, it seemed that MOUZ had already lost spirit, and the fourth concluding map was completely under the control of the South American team. A telling moment was the rage-buyback at the 10th minute by MidOne, who decided to play mid Gyrocopter in the grand final:
The final ended with a score of 3-1 in favor of Heroic. The win streak of Crystallis was broken, nevertheless, for MOUZ to overcome Team Liquid and Nigma Galaxy, and also to fight on equal terms with prime Heroic — this is a result above all praise.
FISSURE Universe: Episode 7 took place from October 5 to October 12 in an online format. The tournament prize pool was 250,000 dollars.
