The Group Stage of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 has ended. Wawitas Sagazes, LGD Gaming, 9 Pandas, and Blacklist International have all left the tournament. The remaining teams made it to the playoffs.

Wawitas Sagazes and 9 Pandas have already been eliminated in the first day. LGD Gaming had to convert a 2-0 victory against Team Liquid, but only managed a draw. Blacklist International was also in a similar situation, as they could only get a draw against the BetBoom Team, which wasn't enough for their survival.

The only tiebreaker situation required was between Team Secret and Gaimin Gladiators to determine which of the two would qualify for the Upper Bracket.

The tiebreaker was decided with a Shadow Fiend 1v1 between Quinn and MidOne. Quinn dominated the CS chart, and propelled him to the lead against MidOne. Ultimately, both players ran at each other, with Quinn barely winning by surviving with 50 HP. This result set up the Gladiators for an Upper Bracket match against G2.IG.

The first round of the Upper Bracket will also be played today. Meanwhile, the Lower Bracket matches will be saved for the 15th of December, where the teams will play in front of a crowd.

ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 takes place from December 11 to 17 in a LAN format. Twelve teams will fight for a prize pool of $1,000,000. For more frequent updates and posts, check out our Telegram channel.
