Liquid crushed Falcons and secured victory at 1win Essence II
Team Liquid became champions of 1win Essence II, defeating Team Falcons 3-0 in the grand final. The team earned $100,000 for first place.
Ahead of The International 2026, Team Liquid are rapidly gaining form. Nisha stands out in particular, finishing the tournament with a record KDA for the year — 7.74.
The first map was extremely interesting thanks to even play from both teams and a Divine Rapier purchase. The teams could not gain a decisive advantage for a long time, but at one turning point, thanks to a stronger draft and better execution, Team Liquid managed to close out the game. Nisha finished the map with a score of 13/3/22.
The second map ended in an absolute stomp by Team Liquid — the team closed the map in 26 minutes. miCKe had perfect stats of 13/0/9 by the end of the game.
The third map should have been in the bag for Team Falcons, but a weaker draft with little control left them with no answer to Nisha on Storm Spirit and miCKe on Windranger. As a result, the match went deep into the late game, where Team Liquid’s heroes became much stronger, and the team was able to fully erase the gold lead and secure a clean sweep over the favorite.
Interestingly, at the end of the game miCKe started trolling ATF for his Necrophos play and wrote in all-chat: “Atf necro. XD”.
