Most Played Heroes For Every Role In 7.34e

Exclusive

Minor patch 7.34e was released a week ago, and players have begun figuring out the meta. Here is a list of the most played heroes in high-level pubs for every role in 7.34e.

Carry

Spectre

Spectre is by far the best carry hero to pick at the moment. The hero had an incredibly high win rate at The International 2023 and only got a nerf of minus one armor. Spectre is extremely viable due to her low cooldown ultimate that can help her join fights actively.

Faceless Void

Faceless Void is another popular pick in pro-level pubs. Void benefits from the new map. Faceless Void remained unchanged in 7.34e and is a solid team-fighting carry that suits the meta.

Luna

Luna has good pacing throughout all portions of the game. She farms much faster than Spectre and Faceless Void, allowing her to snowball the game earlier. Luna excels at taking objectives, including Roshan and high ground, and her straightforward item builds.

Mid

Lina

With the huge map now, Mid Laners that naturally buy Boots of Travels, like Lina, heavily benefit from it. Pro players enjoy going for the Aether Lens into Aghanim’s Scepter build on the hero, allowing her to easily burst enemy heroes.

Invoker

Invoker is a versatile Mid Laner that has a lot of flexible builds. You can go greedy with Midas into Boots of Travels, or go for an early Spirit Vessel, or a mix of both! Invoker is excellent at team fights and cutting waves to delay a game. Overall a very solid pick.

Puck

Most players tend to group up to take objectives with death-ball heroes being prominent in the meta. Puck is a great powerplaying hero who can cut waves to delay games. Going Maelstrom into Aghanim’s Scepter is a trendy build on Puck at the moment.

Off Lane

Slardar

Slardar feels like a fantastic hero right now. He is strong in lane and excellently scales into the late game. Getting his Aghanim’s Scepter is highly recommended, as it makes him very tanky in team fights. The hero can naturally deal tons of damage without buying damage items.

Centaur Warrunner

The Heart of Tarrasque on tanky heroes still exists, and Centaur highly benefits from it. He’s an incredibly strong laner and is a good tempo setter. Don’t forget to get his Aghanim’s Shard, as it’s very strong.

Wraith King

With more camps added to the map, the meta supports scaling Off Laners that require lots of farm. You can buy Radiance on Wraith King and get away with the greed. His Aghanim’s Scepter is S-Tier as well.

Soft Support

Grimstroke

Grimstroke’s Aghanim’s Shard is lowkey broken. The spell lifesteal against creeps got nerfed, but the nerf is not big enough to impact the hero’s strength. Getting a late-game Aghanim’s Scepter is ideal for the hero, especially against heroes that buy Radiance.

Nature’s Prophet

Nature’s Prophet was one of the most-picked supports at TI and, surprisingly, was not changed in patch 7.34e. The new Sprout is incredible for lane trading, and being able to teleport to any lane makes him a fantastic early-game hero. NP can scale into the late game and farm easily, too.

Pugna

Pugna has high movement speed and attack range, making him a great laning phase hero. With Nether Blast, Pugna is a support that can help siege towers effectively. Make sure to pair Pugna with mana-dependent Mid-Laners like Storm Spirit.

Hard Support

Treant Protector

Treant Protector is by far the best position five hero at the moment. He is an incredibly strong laner, and Living Armor helps delay the game. The Aghanim’s Shard on this hero is a must-buy, and getting a Blink Dagger afterwards makes him a threat in fights.

Grimstroke

Again, Grimstroke is played a lot in the Hard Support role. You don’t need that much farm on Grimstroke, as all you need is his Shard.

Pugna

Pugna is exceptional as the Safe Lane support for the reasons mentioned earlier. It’s impossible to trade against this hero, and he can secure any lane for the Carry.
