Mouz among the first to leave Blast Slam VI, results of the Last Chance stage
Following the results of the Last Chance stage of Blast Slam VI, MOUZ and Rekonix were eliminated from the tournament, while Heroic and GamerLegion got a chance to fight for a spot in the playoffs:
Heroic did not leave Rekonix any chance of victory. The series ended with a 2-0 scoreline. The maps turned out to be quite long and had a common pattern: in the mid game Rekonix had a small gold advantage but could not convert it and ended up losing.
GamerLegion, on the contrary, played three short maps against MOUZ, but all of them were rather one-sided, without turnarounds or comebacks. MOUZ, who were still in good form at the end of last season, have clearly not started the new year on the highest note.
The group stage of Blast Slam VI is taking place online from February 3 to 7. The six best teams will advance to the playoffs, which will be held on February 13-15 in Malta. The tournament's prize pool is 1 million dollars.
