NA Qualifiers Day 2: Four Teams Cut From Qualifiers
It’s elimination day for the North American qualifiers, with four teams having their dreams crushed.
Sand King Gomez 2-1 CDUB Esports
Sand King Gomez put up a great fight against Nouns yesterday, so they are expected to have a decent performance throughout the rest of the qualifier.
SKG could stomp the first game against CDUB Esports but lose a close 61-minute game after. Still, they got the job done and closed the decider in only 24 minutes to move on to the qualifier.
B8 2-0 TiltedBoys
Dendi and the crew only have one chance to ensure their new roster additions are well-spent. Fortunately, they could convert their series against TiltedBoys in a 2-0 fashion.
B8’s new player V-Tune performed well in both games, carrying B8 to the next round.
Lucky Bird 0-2 American Goons
American Goons is another notable competitor in the North American qualifiers, as they could easily beat Peruvian team Lucky Bird with no issues. The Goons managed to beat them in a clean 2-0 fashion.
Ravens 0-2 The Cut
The most anticipated series of the day is Ravens facing off against The Cut. However, we didn’t get the close games we were expecting, as The Cut could convincingly win the series 2-0. The Ravens will end their run here, while The Cut will continue to the next stage.
