NAVI risk losing their invite to EWC 2026, Spirit and PV in the upper bracket final, results of day three of DL 29 playoffs
The third day of the DreamLeague 29 playoffs has come to an end. PlayTime eliminated the strongest team of group B – Natus Vincere, while PARIVISION and Team Spirit advanced to the upper bracket final, where they will play for a spot in the tournament grand final.
PlayTime defeated Natus Vincere in the first round of the lower playoff bracket. Interestingly, PlayTime are breathing down the neck of Natus Vincere in the EPT standings, with the Peruvians fighting for the last slot at the Esports World Cup 2026. Natus Vincere have 1775 points, while PlayTime, in turn, have 1462. If in tomorrow’s lower bracket match PlayTime beat BetBoom Team, the Peruvian team will overtake Natus Vincere in EPT points and secure a spot at the Esports World Cup 2026.
PARIVISION defeated Team Falcons 2–1 without major problems. On the first map, PARIVISION decided to give Satanic Viper, and No[o]ne- chose Death Prophet for himself. However, the idea did not succeed: Team Falcons outplayed their opponents in lane and closed out the game with ease. The next two maps were played without experiments; PARIVISION won them in 22 and 43 minutes.
Team Spirit proved stronger than Aurora in three maps. All three maps were one-sided. In the decider, Larl showed a fantastic performance on Invoker, finishing with 11/2/28 KDA, dealing 81 thousand damage and participating in 85% of the kills.
DreamLeague 29 is held online from May 13 to 24 with a prize pool of 1 million dollars. DreamLeague 29 is the last tournament of the EPT season, after which invites to the Esports World Cup 2026 will be issued.
