Neon Esports goes to the Major, Philippine Government relaxed the travel restrictions
Recently, it was reported that Neon Esports might miss ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021. It was due to the entering of severe restrictive measures to combat the spread of the pandemic in the Philippines.
The day before the new restrictions came into force, the Philippine government changed the measures. Earlier it was assumed that in the period from March 20 to April 19, only citizens with a work visa would be able to fly from abroad. But after the change, the borders will be open to all citizens of the Philippines. Thus, Neon Esports will be able to fly to Singapore and return to their country after its completion without any problems.
Neon Esports finished the first season of the DPC Regional League: SEA in second place and earned a ticket to the ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 group stage. The tournament itself will be held from March 27 to April 4.
