New D2CL season starts in 3 days
Tournament organizer Epic Esports announced the third season of Dota 2 Champions League. It is scheduled for August 14 – September 12 and features 10 teams. The total prize pool will be $50,000.
Invited teams:

- Winstrike Team
- Team Unique
- Nemiga Gaming
- Team Empire
- Spider Pigzs
- Fantastic Five
- HellRaisers
- V-Gaming
One more team will be determined after the open qualifiers, which start tomorrow, August 12.
Compared with the previous season, which ended yesterday, there were several changes in the list of participants. Thus, Chicken Fighters and Hellbear Smashers won't participate in the third season, and their places went to HellRaisers and Team Empire.
In the group stage, the participants will be placed in one group to compete by a Round Robin system in the BO3 series. The organizer didn't specify how many teams will advance to the playoffs.
The previous Dota 2 Champions League season ended yesterday. The winner of the upper playoff was Team Spirit, and the winner of the bottom playoff was Winstrike.
