Niku talked about the reasons for NAVI's exit from Blast Slam V
Niku gave us a short interview after the 2-0 defeat by MOUZ. The young player talked about whether to expect new preparations from him, the difficulties the team faced, impressions of the LAN in China, and also discussed the role he plays in the team:
— Why do you think you lost and what emotions do you feel after the game?
— I'm a bit upset right now, but what can you do. I think these were tough games for our team, but it will serve us as good experience. I feel that we are getting stronger with each tournament.
— Do you think the main problem was in the draft or in skill?
— I think a little bit of everything. We just played poorly, but we will soon become better.
— What are you planning to do to really become better? Do you need more rest or, on the contrary, more training, or maybe improve communication?
— We will have a bootcamp before DreamLeague Season 27. I think during it we will seriously prepare for the tournament, it will definitely give us a boost.
— What are your expectations for DreamLeague Season 27? What place are you aiming for?
— We will try to go as far as possible, obviously. But personally, I would like to get into the top-8 and further... We'll see.
— Can you give a prediction for your KDA at DreamLeague Season 27?
— My KDA is not always good. I am, let's say, a team player. But some games I can carry with a score of 10/0. We'll see, maybe there will be good games.
— But we still remember your unexpected mid Undying and signature Timbersaw. We are waiting for new heroes from you and know that you can shine on them.
— Yes, I played new heroes like Kez in the group stage. I think by DreamLeague Season 27 there will definitely be some new heroes on which I can excel.
— What are your impressions of China, how do you like the atmosphere of this tournament?
— China is not bad. I also liked the tournament: there is good food, good computers. I think that's all a player needs!
