NoPing vs. beastcoast — match fixing or accident?
The final match of the DPC: SA Regional League took place between NoPing Esports and beastcoast recently. The result of this meeting decided the fate of tickets to the Major and possible tie-break between beastcoast and Thunder Predator.
On the 24th minute of the decisive third map of this match, after a failed fight, a member of NoPing Esports, ??Jose Leonardo "Panda" Padilla Hernandez, wrote "gg" and left the game. His team lost only 2 towers and led in Net Worth. The rest of the team wrote that it was a misclick, but the match was already over, and the victory in the series was awarded to beastcoast.
This match was followed by a tie-break for the first place between the same teams, where NoPing Esports won with a score of 2-0.
Thunder Predator encouraged Valve to check this match
Following these results, the Peruvian team Thunder Predator asked OGA and Valve to check this match. More than 100,000 viewers watched the match on the official Twitch broadcast, and it was also broadcast on local television. If it was a match fixing, it could severely damage the reputation of Dota 2 in the region.

After the match, the team's support, ?? Farith "Matthew" Puente, told his vision of the situation on the stream. According to him, ??Panda had a panic attack, after which the Esportsman was unable to continue playing. The whole team was shocked by the teammate's action but didn't continue the match.
At the moment, OGA and Valve haven't commented on the current situation. If no decision follows, then NoPing Esports and beastcoast will represent the region at WePlay AniMajor 2021.
