The Outlanders Update ‘Dota 2’ Patch Released With Two New Heroes and Game Changes
After 3 month of waiting the new update called, “the Outlanders” has launched and brought two new heroes and major changes to the game. The new patch changes include reworked courier system, warding, outposts, gold and XP changes and level updates.
With last big patches, Valve is trying to make position 5 more popular and pickable, and this patch is not an exception. In this update, DOTA 2 is taking side of the supporting position with gold and experience system changes and bringing free observer wards to the game. Items from neutral stacks, teleport scrolls at the beginning of the game – all this things are going to make position 5 richer and more popular.
The game introduced Void Spirit and Snapfire.
Void spirit is a melee carry who has perfect disable and nuke abilities. Like other spirits, he can create own remnants and move around fast with his abilities. Snapfire is a ranged support for slowing, stunning and dealing damage to the enemies. For the next few weeks, we are expecting to see small patches to balance them before entering CM mode.
Therefore, the map has been changed again, with the Radiant ancient camp moving to the other side of the map and the secret shops being removed in favor of new Outpost buildings that teams can capture to gain vision, a TP location and XP.
