Overview of DPC Eastern Europe Division One Matches for May 27

We have a full schedule for the EEU DPC on May 27, with a total of three matches. Spirit and Nemiga are first on the list, followed by UALIKUM facing off against Hydra, and the day ends with a spicy BetBoom versus 9Pandas.

Team Spirit 2-1 Nemiga

Team Spirit has been dropping games to lower ranked teams, and Nemiga will be next to challenge Yatoro and his crew.

Game 1

Nemiga’s draft had a strong laning approach in the first game of the series, with them building up a 2,000 net worth lead at the 11-minute mark. Nemiga converted their early advantage to stay in control throughout the entire Mid Game.

Though behind, Spirit punched back multiple times to keep the game winnable. At the 30 minute mark, a massive team fight broke out at the bottom Roshan area, where Nemiga came out victorious, allowing them to upset Spirit and win Game 1 of the series.

Game 2

In Game 2, Team Spirit had a much better draft compared to Game 1, picking Yatoro his trusty Juggernaut. Though the outcome of the laning phase was dead even, Team Spirit made great moves to control the game and win in 36 minutes. Yatoro finished the game 7/0/8, a flawless performance for the Ukrainian.

Game 3 - Game To Watch

In Game 3, Team Spirit went for one of their favorite drafting strategies, picking Collapse Magnus. Nemiga responded with a Dark Seer plus Lifestealer lineup. Surprisingly, Nemiga controlled the early game with a 5,000 net worth lead 15-minutes in after winning a team fight.

Things were looking for for Nemiga leading up to the 23-minute mark, as they claimed the Aegis for v1olent’s Lifestealer. However, a great Reverse Polarity from Collapse at the bottom Outpost helped Team Spirit bring the game back to even.

Three minutes later, another team fight breaks out in the Middle Lane, where Collapse lands yet another impactful Reverse Polarity, this time onto three Nemiga heroes. Yatoro cleaned everyone up inside the RP, and Team Spirit took full control of the game and took the game at 44 minutes.

Hydra 2-0 UALEIKUMNIHAO

Though UALIKUM are sitting 0-4, they have shown some potential. However, Hydra are still the better roster on paper.

Game 1

In Game 1, UALIKUM started the first 8 minutes very well but crumbled hard afterward. Hydra had already built up a 3,000 net worth lead 12 minutes in and dominated the rest of the game. An early GG was called for UALIKUM 22 minutes in, a poor showing from them.

Game 2

For the second game, Hydra were able to get their hands on the popular Magnus plus Juggernaut synergy, with a Mid Puck as the backbone of the team. Hydra blew out the laning phase, leading 2,000 gold by the 10-minute mark. The same story from the first game repeated, as Hydra was able to win Game 2 in only 31 minutes.

BetBoom 9Pandas

Saving the best for last, BetBoom were matched up against 9Pandas, the most anticipated match of the day. With Team Spirit showing some struggles, the winner of this matchup will likely become the kings of EEU for the Summer season.

Game 1

9Pandas had their draft focused on winning the early game and proceeding to snowball, while BetBoom had a solid late-game draft that will take some time to come online. BetBoom had to survive the early game if they wanted to win.

9Pandas took an early 3,000 gold lead at the 13-minute mark, but BetBoom won a fight to take the gold lead in their favor. As the game continued, it became impossible for 9Pandas to fight into BetBoom’s scaling draft, and 9Pandas had to concede the first game.

Game 2

Miero’s first-pick Beastmaster was punished in the second game with a Bloodseeker plus Lich lane from BetBoom. BetBoom continued to draft around strong laning heroes, which paid off big time.

BetBoom managed to build a 4,000 net worth lead 10 minutes into the game, and it was a disaster for 9Pandas from there on out. RAMZES666 on Alchemist could not get a penny from his jungle, as Save’s Enchantress constantly disturbed him. Unfortunately, we didn’t get close games for such a hyped-up matchup, as GG was quickly called 22 minutes in.
