Overview of teams ranking changes on November 9
A weekly update of the professional Dota 2 teams' ranking has been released on the website. There have been changes in the TOP-5: ??Motivade.Trust Gaming broke into fifth place in the ranking!
The previous week was full of Dota in all regions. We saw the endings of Dota Summit 13 in three regions and of the first season of Perfect World Dota2 League, as well as the closed qualifiers for the Epic League were in full swing. All these events have changed the teams' rankings a lot.
The ended DOTA Summit 13: Southeast Asia allowed the champion of the tournament, ??Motivade.Trust Gaming, to move up 8 lines at once and take 5th place in our ranking. It is the second major tournament in the last month and a half that the Thai team has won: before that, in September, they became the champions of BTS Pro Series Season 3: Southeast Asia.
The winner of DOTA Summit 13: Europe & CIS, ??Vikin.gg, got to 7th place of our ranking, coming close to ??Nigma - only 5 points separate the teams. And the vice-champion of the tournament, ??Team Liquid, is gradually approaching the second line, where ??PSG.LG is.
A surprise for many was the result of DOTA Summit 13: Americas, where ??Team Zero defeated ??Quincy Crew in the final. This result gave the team a boost to 21 positions at once, which allowed it to get to 15th place.
