Patch 7.30 broke Captains Mode. i-League 2021 matches rescheduled
Patch 7.30, released in the Dota 2 client recently, broke Captains Mode. The i-League 2021 Season 2 matches couldn't start and have been rescheduled.
The first i-League 2021 Season 2 game between Invictus Gaming and Vici Gaming was supposed to start today, but the teams couldn't pick their heroes due to the patch release and a bug in the lobby. The organizer tried to postpone the meeting to later, but Valve hasn't fixed it yet. So, all matches have been rescheduled for other days. The organizer of the i-League 2021 clarified that if the error is not corrected tomorrow, then the matches will be held with an imitation of Captains Mode. That is, the draft stage will take place in text format.
We still don't know what will be in other tournaments because today we also expect the games in Dota 2 Champions League Season 3 and BTS Pro Series Season 7: Americas.
