Last night, Valve released patch 7.32d in the Dota 2 client. The developer changed several characters and weakened the Wraith Pact item.

It changed a total of 65 heroes, 9 items, and many bugs. You can find the complete patch note on the official Dota 2 website, but in this article, we'll only touch on the main changes.

Wraith Pact Nerf

One of the most controversial items in the previous patch, the Wraith Pact, has been greatly weakened. In patch 7.32d, the item's aura lost its damage reduction from magical and pure damage. The only resistance to physical damage from attacks and spells remained.

Changes:

  • Ward aura no longer reduces Magical or Pure damage (still affects physical damage from attacks and spells).

Nerf for Marci

Marci was nerfed before The International 11, but not enough to make her lose her effectiveness. At the World Championship, Marci was the most popular hero. Because of this, Valve weakened her stats for the second patch in a row.

Changes:

  • Rebound: Cast and Jump Range decreased from 800 to 450/550/650/750.
  • Rebound: Jump Speed decreased from 2,000 to 1,700.
  • Sidekick: Lifesteal decreased from 35/40/45/50 percent to 30/35/40/45 percent.

Buff for Grimstroke

Grimstroke completely lost his former popularity after the release of patch 7.32. Since then, the character has only been chosen 26 times on the pro scene. But now he has received substantial buffs that should bring him back into the leaders.

Changes:

  • Ink Swell: Movement Speed bonus increased from 10/12/14/16 percent to 12/14/16/18 percent.
  • Dark Portrait: Can now be used on Spell Immune enemies.
  • Talent: Level 15 Talent Soulbind Spell Damage increased from +20 percent to +25 percent.
