Qualifiers for the DPC: SEA Season 2 begin on April 6
The PGL tournament organizer presented the dates and format of the DPC: SEA Season 2 qualification.
In total, the organizer has planned to hold 2 open qualification stages, the strongest team of which receives a place in the second season of the DPC: SEA Lower Division.
The first open qualification stage will be held from April 6 to 7, and the second one - from April 8 to 9. The maximum number of participants on each is 128 teams. Interestingly, in the South Asian region, the organizer decided to abandon an additional round with a closed qualification stage, as organizers in Europe and the CIS did.
After the first season, HOYO and Yangon Galacticos left the DPC: SEA Regional League. So, the winners of open qualifiers will take exactly their places.
The second DPC season will be held from April 13 to May 23. The prize pool of each region is $280,000. Also, the teams will fight for 1,150 DPC points and the spots in the June Major.
