Regional league results in China: Aster is a champion, while RNG and SAG leave the Upper Division
The main stage of the Regional League DPC: China Season 2 has come to an end. Both the Upper and Lower Divisions will have one round of tie-breaks.
Upper Division
Team Aster became the second season champion, finishing it with 6-1 stats and getting a ticket to the Playoff Stage of WePlay AniMajor.
The fate of the second place will be decided in the extra match between PSG.LGD and Vici Gaming, which will take place on Sunday, May 23. The teams finished the regular season with 5-2 stats.
Fourth place goes to Invictus Gaming, which finished the tournament with 4-3 stats. The team will perform at the Wild Card Stage of WePlay AniMajor.
The worst teams at the end of the season were Royal Never Give Up and Sparking Arrow Gaming. If Valve retains the league system, then next season, these teams will play in the Lower Division.
Lower Division
The strongest team from the Lower Division was Phoenix Gaming. The team lost just one match, against LBZS.
Aster.Aries, LBZS and Magma. are sharing second place with 4-2 stats. So they will play tie-breaks that will decide which team is the strongest one and will take the second position and get a place in the Upper Division.
The last place in the division goes to Dragon. The team was disqualified for using fake accounts. Xtreme Gaming took the penultimate place with 1-5 stats.
WePlay AniMajor will run from June 2-13, and its prize pool is the same as at One Esports Singapore Major 2021 — $500,000 and 2,700 DPC points.
