Results of the ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 Group Stage
The group stage of ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 has come to an end, which means that all the decisive stage participants have been determined. Only the last-placed Alliance leaves the tournament after this stage.
Group Stage results
After the second stage, PSG.LGD, Vici Gaming, and Thunder Predator advanced to the Play-offs' Upper bracket. The latter, to the surprise of many, lost only 2 maps out of 14.
Places in the Lower bracket were taken by Quincy Crew, Team Liquid, Team Aster, and OB Esports x Neon. Interestingly, after the first day, OB Esports x Neon was considered the main contenders to be eliminated from the tournament because their result was 1-7. But today, replacing Rappy with Deth, the team won 4 out of 6 maps.
The last place in the Group stage goes to Alliance. The team couldn't put it together after the first day and left the tournament.
Play-off
The final stage of the competition begins tomorrow. The champions of the Regional Leagues first season will join the group stage teams. The stage itself will be played in a Double Elimination bracket with the matches in a BO2 format and the grand final — in a BO5.
