Army Geniuses easily dealt with XERXIA. Team SMG snatched a victory from Bleed Esports. Meanwhile, Talon beat Blacklist International.
Army Geniuses 2:0 XERXIA Esports
XERXIA decided to use a combination of Grimstroke + Alchemist for the first game, but unfortunately, it didn't work. Army Geniuses controlled the situation and waited for Terrorblade to gain its critical mass. Even after getting aegis, XERXIA lost the fight. Meanwhile, inYourdreaM on Terrorblade didn't die once and finished the game with 9/0/11 stats.
The second map XERXIA started well, but at some point, they lost the thread of the game. Their opponents were farming the entire map and gaining an advantage. Army Geniuses finished the game with a 40,000 gold margin.
Team SMG 2:1 Bleed Esports
The first map went quite easily for Team SMG. The advantage was increasing with every minute. The game ended when CDR on Terrorblade gained his items. On the second map, Bleed immediately took the Terrorblade for themselves and made no mistake. The game followed the same scenario as the first.
In the decisive confrontation, the Terrorblade went to the ban. SMG picked Medusa, and Bleed answered them with Alchemist. They had a good start, but one mistake on their opponent's high ground ruined the game. Medusa died without a buyback, so Bleed took advantage of the momentum, went to the throne, and ended the encounter in their favor.
Talon Esports 2:0 Blacklist International
From the start of the game, Talon grabbed the lead, and Blacklist failed to respond with anything. All they could do was stall for a bit and make 4 kills in 40 minutes of play.
Things were going pretty well for Blacklist on the second map, but only until 23savage bought a Refresher Orb on the signature Faceless Void and then a Divine Rapier. With two ultimates, 23savage easily took out the enemy Terrorblade time after time and finished with the second map for Talon.
