Solo said goodbye to Yandex Team
Today Team Yandex announced that the team captain, Solo, is leaving the main roster. The player spent less than two months in the organization. Despite leaving the active roster, Solo will remain in the organization as a streamer.
In an official statement, Team Yandex thanked Solo for his contribution to the team's development:
“Today is a difficult day for us — our captain Solo is leaving us. During this time, he became not just a teammate for Team Yandex, but a leader who led the team forward. Thank you for your experience, for your hard work in training, and for every match played. We wish you luck in your future endeavors and know that new heights are ahead.”
Solo himself also commented on his departure:
“Hello, dear ones. I made a difficult decision. Today I am leaving Team Yandex. I thank the organization for the opportunity they gave me. Thank you to all the fans for your support and kind words. Let's not be sad and move forward.”
Team Yandex was formed at the end of June 2025, and already in July, with Solo as captain, the team managed to participate in several major tournaments. The team placed 9-12th at the Esports World Cup 2025, 7-8th at the FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, and 9-12th at the Clavision Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi. The results cannot be called failures, but the team did not reach top achievements. It is also worth noting that the roster did not qualify for the main tournament of the year — The International 2025. Perhaps this was one of the reasons for the changes in the roster.
Team Yandex announced that Aik will replace Solo in the main roster, and at CCT Season 2 Series 4 offline, ififall will perform. The current roster looks like this:
The organization stated that it will continue preparing for future tournaments, so an announcement of a new player can be expected soon. For Alexey, leaving the team is not the end of his career, but a transition to a new format. Recently, he has been actively streaming, including covering the Esports World Cup 2025 together with RAMZES666, RodjER, 9pasha, and others. His channel currently has 242.5 thousand subscribers.
