Team Falcons Round Out EWC 2025 Playoff Teams
After the Group Stage and Elimination Stage, eight teams have been eliminated from the Esports World Cup 2025 event, and only eight more remain.
In the final round of the Elimination Stage, all expected favorites won their matchups in convincing fashion.
PARIVISION took out the final Chinese representatives, Xtreme Gaming, with relative ease. Satanic busted out a surprise Meepo pick on the carry role, which turned out great for PARIVISION to take the first map. In the second, No[o]ne- had a stellar performance on his Storm Spirit, going 13/2/9 to end the series.
Tundra Esports ended Asia’s run at the event after sending Talon Esports home in the next series. It was an extremely one-sided series, with Bzm dominating with Queen on Pain on both maps. He ended the series with a combined KDA of 23/3/31, leaving Talon Esports with barely any room to breathe.
The Gaimin Gladiators made very quick work of the promising Team Yandex squad. The two maps ended with kill scores of 23-5 and 22-6 in favor of the Gladiators, and TA2000 ended the entire series without a single kill.
The day was wrapped up with a grudge match between Team Falcons and Natus Vincere. In PGL Wallachia Season 5, the latter embarrassed the former by eliminating them in the group stage. Team Falcons got their revenge with an effortless 2-0 victory against the young Natus Vincere squad. After a very rough start to the event, Team Falcons still secured the last spot in the top eight.

The Esports World Cup 2025 is a $3,000,000 tournament taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 16 teams compete from July 8 to 19.
