Team Liquid and Entity advance to the upper bracket playoffs at The Lima Major 2023
After the fourth day of the group stage of The Lima Major 2023, two teams from Group B have already guaranteed their place in the playoffs. These teams are Team Liquid and Entity from Western Europe.
Team Liquid is guaranteed first place in the group. After 7 games, the team has 12 points and one more series against Team Aster in reserve. Recall that in the first round of the playoffs, it plays with a team that takes 4th place in Group A.
Entity keeps the second place in Group B. After 8 games, the team has 11 points. No one can move it from this position as it has an advantage of at least 1 point anyway.
The group stage of The Lima Major 2023 takes place from February 22 to 26. After that, 6 teams from each group qualify for the playoffs: 4 teams for the Upper Bracket and 2 more for the Lower Bracket. The playoffs start on February 28.
