Team Solid won two matches at the same time. How can it be?
While the community keeps a close eye on the European division of OGA Dota Pit S2, the tier 3 scene has surprised again. Yesterday a Kazakh Team Solid won two matches at two different tournaments at the same time. For both meetings, many bookmakers accepted bets and even paid them.
After our investigation, it turned out that the team participated only in Time of Bet Cup, while fake people played at Voodoo League Series. Moreover, the organizers weren't even too lazy to copy the nicknames of the players.
We took a comment from the Team Solid captain - Maestro. According to him, the matches really were in two tournaments at the same time. Still, the team was physically unable to participate in both of them, so they refused to play in the Voodoo League Series, expecting to receive a technical defeat. But after finishing their match at the Time Of Bet Cup, they were surprised that someone played a match at the Voodoo League Series on their behalf. The organizers didn't provide any explanation for the team members.
It is worth noting that we have refused coverage of the Voodoo League Series due to the organizers' suspicious behavior.
Only one conclusion can be drawn from this situation. It is necessary to be especially careful about matches of the Tier-3 level. Not all organizers play fair, and moderation of bookmakers is not able to correctly assess the situation and ensure the safety of betters. Such dishonest organizers harm aspiring Esportsmen, undermining faith in them from the very start of their careers.
