The International 10 China Qualifiers bracket is revealed
With all Chinese teams participating in WePlay AniMajor securing direct invites to The International 10, the full qualifiers bracket for the region became available.
The qualifiers will include all teams that competed in the second season of DPC: China, except PSG.LGD, Invictus Gaming, Vici Gaming and Team Aster, who got direct invitations to TI. Also, Demon Slayer and Xtreme Gaming from the Lower Division won't participate in the qualifiers.
There was seeding among the teams, which determined the initial pairs of the qualifiers. The main seeding criteria were DPC points and the results of the second DPC season. Remember that 1st place in the Lower Division is valued higher than 8th place in the Upper Division. The initial pairs at the tournament are as follows:
- 1st place plays with 8th place;
- 2nd place plays with 7th place;
- 3rd place plays with 6th place;
- 4th place plays with 5th place.
This seeding applies to both the Upper and Lower brackets. Because many teams don't participate in the qualifiers, the first round of the Lower bracket won't take place at all.
Upper bracket seeding:
- Elephant: 85 DPC points;
- EHOME: 6th place in the Upper Division;
- Phoenix Gaming: 1st place in the Lower Division;
- Royal Never Give Up: 7th place in the Upper Division;
- LBZS: 2nd place in the Lower Division;
- Sparking Arrow Gaming: 8th place in the Upper Division;
- Aster.Aries: 3rd place in the Lower Division;
- Team MagMa: 4th place in the Lower Division.
Lower bracket seeding:
- CDEC Gaming: 5th place in the Lower Division;
- Xtreme Gaming: 6th place in the Lower Division.
Qualifiers in China will be held from July 7 to 10. All matches will be played in BO3 and the grand final in BO5 formats. The strongest team will receive a direct invite to The International 10.
