The third game day of The International 10 is over. At the tournament, several teams have already guaranteed themselves a place in the upper bracket. But some teams are almost out of the tournament. Let's see what we have after the third day.
Team standings after Day 3
One round is left in group A, and Invictus Gaming has already secured its place in the upper bracket. The fate of the remaining three places will be decided tomorrow between Virtus Pro, OG, Undying, Evil Geniuses, and T1. Alliance and Team Aster will 100% start from the lower bracket. Thunder Predator already occupied the last place in the group: the team has lost 14 maps and has no chance to reach the next stage already.
The situation in Group B is extremely tense. PSG.LGD has already guaranteed itself a place in the upper bracket of the playoffs. After them, 6 teams: Vici Gaming, beastcoast, Team Secret, Team Spirit, and Elephant, are still fighting for a place in the upper bracket. Quincy Crew and SG Esports are at the bottom lines. However, if the teams perform well tomorrow, both could stay in the tournament and make it to the lower bracket.
Interesting facts about Day 3:
- In the match between EG and T1, players killed 11 couriers in total. This is a new tournament record for The International series.
- S4 became the second player in the world in the number of wins on the professional stage. He has 1,400 maps won, with the first map against Team Aster being the record. Only Puppey is higher on the list with 1,426 wins.
- Nature's Prophet has the highest win rate among heroes with more than 10 picks (13 picks). His win rate is 76,92%.
- The most popular heroes of the tournament are Monkey King (27 picks and 89 bans), IO (38 picks and 77 bans), and Tiny (34 picks and 80 bans).
- After Day 3, only 12 heroes weren't drafted on The International 10 at all.
