The new Virtus Pro roster failed in all qualifications
Virtus.pro could not pass both open qualifications for FISSURE Playground 2 with the new roster. In the first selection, the "bears" were eliminated at the quarterfinal stage, losing to the mix Rift with a score of 0:1. In the second attempt, their path to the tournament was cut short by the team Aim Possible, which confidently defeated Virtus.pro with a score of 1:0 in just 25 minutes (26-8 in kills), leaving them no chance to advance to the closed stage.
These defeats were the first for the updated Virtus.pro roster. Shortly before the start of the qualifications, the organization decided to part ways with Daxak. His place in the third position was temporarily taken by mister moral. Daxak, with whom the team qualified for the Esports World Cup 2025, where they finished last without winning a single map. Daxak immediately announced his search for a new team, changing his nickname in Steam to "LFT LUL".

The Rift roster, which eliminated Virtus.pro in the first qualification, continued to fight and reached the semifinals, where they lost to Nemiga Gaming. Aim Possible, which defeated Virtus.pro in the second open qualification, is still fighting for a spot in the closed qualification.
FISSURE Playground 2 will take place from October 23 to November 2 in Belgrade, Serbia. The tournament prize pool will be $1,000,000. It will feature 16 teams, 12 of which will receive direct invitations from the organizers, and another 4 will be determined by the results of closed qualifications from North and South America, Western and Eastern Europe, as well as Asia.
