TORONTOTOKYO risks missing TI due to kick from OG
Today TORONTOTOKYO left the OG roster. The announcement of the player joining the team from Aurora on loan took place in April. In the lineup he replaced Nikko.
The organization’s official statement reads as follows:
“OG confirms the end of the loan of TORONTOTOKYO in our Dota roster. We want to thank Aleksandr for his hard work and effort during the time he spent with the team. Even though the results did not go our way. We wish him all the best. We wish him all the best and will announce a replacement in the roster in the coming days.” the statement reads.
The former offlaner of Aurora joined OG at the beginning of April. With him in the lineup the team failed to qualify for DreamLeague 29 from the Southeast Asia qualifier and also finished 9th-10th at Blast Slam 7. It is not yet known which club’s roster TORONTOTOKYO will join; it is possible he will return to streaming, although he has stated that he wants to attend The International 2026 as a player.

The next tournament for OG will be the qualifiers for The International 2026. The team has been invited to the closed stage of the Southeast Asia qualifiers, where they will compete for one slot at the main tournament of the year.
