Tundra coach called the roster bots after being eliminated from the tournament. Results of the second day of the PGL Wallachia S5 playoffs

According to the results of the second day of the playoffs PGL Wallachia Season 5, Gaimin Gladiators and Team Liquid reached the final, BetBoom Team, Natus Vincere, Xtreme Gaming and Team Spirit fell into the lower bracket, and Aurora and Tundra Esports were eliminated from the tournament.

In the first match, Natus Vincere defeated Tundra Esports without losing a single game. Interestingly, this same team had lost three times to the new stack of Solo, Team Yandex (formerly Cyber Goose) in the Eastern European qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2025 and The International 2025 just a couple of weeks ago. Yet today, they are showing excellent performance in their last tournament before disbanding. Both maps were relatively easy for Natus Vincere, with Copy standing out, finishing the second map with a score of 16/2/15. 

After the match, the coach of Tundra Esports, MoonMeander, harshly commented on the fact that the team was eliminated from the tournament, finishing in 7-8th place:

"I don't think our problems stem from drafts. The problem is that we are damn bots, and the enemies know it, they sense it. "Just kill them — all they do is farm, it's Tundra." So we should farm less and start killing the animals that cross all boundaries."

The meeting between Team Spirit and Aurora in the lower bracket did not go without comebacks. In the first map, Team Spirit had a good draft, which allowed them to steadily gain an advantage and win the game without any surprises. However, in the second map, the game initially went under the dictation of Aurora, but literally in the last five minutes, Team Spirit managed to comeback an advantage of more than 20 thousand gold and take the series!

Another victory for Gaimin Gladiators now over Xtreme Gaming and an easy entry into the tournament final gives the right to call this team the main contender for victory at PGL Wallachia Season 5. For the first map of the series, the Chinese team chose a tempo pick but could not realize it. It is surprising that for the first time in the tournament, a non-meta Phantom Lancer was picked and won by watson. The carry of the Gaimin Gladiators team finished the game with a KDA of 9/1/8. Following this, on the second map, Xtreme Gaming could no longer offer any resistance.

In the confrontation between Team Liquid and BetBoom Team, the midlaners of the teams played a significant role. gpk~ is currently in excellent form, but it turned out to be insufficient to overcome Team Liquid, who were significantly strengthened by the return of iNSaNiA. The decisive third map was especially tough, where Team Liquid had a better draft, stronger teamfight, and a significant gold lead. The series ended with a score of 2-1, Team Liquid advanced to the final, and BetBoom Team fell into the lower bracket.

PGL Wallachia Season 5 takes place from June 21 to 29 in Bucharest, Romania. 16 teams are competing for a prize pool of 1 million dollars.
