Tuskar is the leader of the professional Dota 2
At the end of November, patch 7.32d came to the Dota 2 client. It changed several characters and weakened the Wraith Pact item. At first sight, the changes seemed minor, but they affected the meta of professional Dota 2.
Top-10 most popular heroes since the patch release:
- Tuskar – 195 times;
- Pangolier – 182 times;
- Ember Spirit – 170 times;
- Tiny – 165 times;
- Batrider – 159 times;
- Broodmother – 158 times;
- Beastmaster – 153 times;
- Mirana – 144 times;
- DOOM – 158 times.
The leader of the meta at the moment is Tuskar. However, patch 7.32d didn't change his at all. His popularity was affected by the weakening of other heroes. One of these characters was Marci, who dropped out of the Top-10. Before the patch, this heroine had been at the top for a long time.
The next few weeks may bring many changes to professional Dota 2 with the qualifiers for the next DPC season. The open qualifiers are scheduled for December 11-18, 2022, and the closed qualifiers are for December 19-22, 2022.
