Valve announces Short Film Contest with $43,500 prize

Valve has announced its annual Short Film Contest on Dota 2. Submissions are accepted until September 5. Anyone can create and submit a short film of not more than 90 seconds and compete for the cash prize.
The prize pool is $43,500. The Top-3 submissions receive $25,000, $10,000 and $5,000 respectively and the remaining Top-10 submissions are guaranteed to win $500.
To enter the contest, you need to upload your video to the Steam Workshop. Valve will select several movies based on user ratings and hold a final community vote. The winner will be announced at The International 2022.
